UPDATE TO RETENTION PLAN FOR FLORIDA FEDERATION

Back

ADDITIONAL SUGGESTIONS FOR CHAPTERS TO HELP THEIR RETENTION:

  1. One of the most important tools in Membership and Retention is the monthly

M 112 Report. - I hope that all chapters are using this report every month when it is received.

2.. Several Florida Federation Chapters do not meet during the summer months.

These chapters should consider an informal Board Meeting for the months that they do not meet.

  1. At this Board Meeting, utilize the M 112 Report, to arrange to contact all the new

members, send them the Chapter Newsletter, and a list of the Chapter Officers and Chairpersons. Let them know where and when their chapter meets, and welcome them into your chapter.

  1. Using this M112 Report, have your Membership/Retention Chairperson(s) call all members on second renewal notice. Let them know that they are important to your chapter, and that the chapter is active in striving to save their benefits.

  1. Follow-up letters to all dropped members should continue during the summer months, as we should be doing every month. (The Retention/Membership Committee and officers don’t usually get a vacation).

Cost: Minimum

Time: 1-2 hours per month
