TO: OFFICERS AND MEMBERS OF THE FLORIDA FEDERATION OF NARFE

I want to thank you for the support you provided for me during my quest for the Region III NFVP position. It was vary close race as both Guy and I knew that it would be. As I stated in my acceptance speech in Reno, we were both competing for the position and not against each other. The commitment and mission of NARFE is to strong for a division to have been created by two friends competing for the same job.

I look forward to working with each of the members of the Florida Federation during the next two years. If I am going to be successful, it will be necessary that you let me know of your concerns as I plan to be your liaison between your Federation and NARFE.

I hope to visit with you very soon at the state executive board meeting.
